More than any other person in our history, Buffalo Bill
romanticized the West, and created the picture of the West that continues
today.
William F. Cody knew the West from experience. Born in 1846, Cody grew up in the West, and began his legendary career as a Pony
Express rider. In addition, Cody served in the Civil War, was a frontier scout, and a buffalo
hunter.
In honor of this American legend, arguably one of the
most famous Americans ever, America Remembers proudly announces the
William F. Cody "Buffalo Bill" Tribute Rifle.

 |
A magnificent portrait highlights the left side of the receiver, along
with familiar scenes of Cody in action. All decoration is a blend of 24-karat gold
and nickel.
|
 |
Right side of receiver features Cody,
and an American flag in honor of his contributions to our heritage, along with a
distinguished portrait of Cody. Note the buffalo head and Indian Chief
portrayed in the decorative nickel scroll framing the artwork. The lever is also decorated with nickel scroll to
beautifully complement the artwork.

 |
The Tribute's handsome stock is laser-carved on each side with an image of
Buffalo Bill waving to the audience, along with a decorative banner paying tribute to
William F. Cody. Barrel bands, sight, and magazine cap are hand-polished and
finished in 24-karat gold. The hammer and breech bolt's jewelled texture adds a
unique finish to the rifle.
