Honoring the King of Rock & Roll®

For those of you who share Elvis’ admiration for fine firearms, America
Remembers is proud to offer the Elvis® and Graceland® Tribute Rifle.
Officially authorized by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., each
working rifle is elaborately decorated by craftsmen specifically
commissioned by America Remembers, with 24-karat gold and nickel artwork
honoring the King of Rock & Roll. The first rifle in this Elvis and
Graceland edition has been
presented to Graceland.
For this Elvis and Graceland Tribute, America Remembers selected the
Winchester Model 94 rifle. Known the world over as the “Winchester .30-30,”
this remarkable rifle has enjoyed unparalleled popularity since its
introduction in 1894. The Winchester rifle has earned a place in history as
“The rifle that won the West.” Elvis’ motion picture career included
Westerns in which he wore holstered pistols and carried rifles.
A long-time fancier of firearms, Elvis became much more familiar with
them during his Army days. His passion for firearms of all types is evident
when touring Graceland, where part of his impressive collection is on
display. This Elvis and Graceland Tribute is the first firearm ever authorized by Elvis' Estate.

Elvis
Presley
Rock & Roll burst upon the national scene in the 1950s,
ultimately changing American culture. With a generation of post WWII
youngsters embracing this new sound in music, an altogether different
singer, Elvis Aaron Presley, set the stage with a sound and style all his
own. He captured the hearts and souls of fans worldwide, and will forever be
known as the undisputed King of Rock & Roll™.
Elvis’ first recording was for Sun Records in 1954, at
the age of 19. By 1956, the 21-year-old Elvis was an International
sensation, and became the primary symbol of the new youth culture in
America. His rise to stardom and his ensuing influence on American culture
was unprecedented. With his unique talent, good looks, sensuality, and
remarkable personality, Elvis was adored by millions of fans whose thirst
for his music, and anything related to Elvis was insatiable. Children,
teens, and moms and dads alike, all wanted to emulate Elvis in their daily
lives. Elvis starred in 33 successful films, made history with television
appearances, and sold more than one billion records, more than any other
artist.
In 1958, Elvis’ career was interrupted while he served
in the U.S. Army. It was a bittersweet two-year hitch, during which his
mother Gladys passed away, and he met his future bride, Priscilla Beaulieu.
Following his discharge, Elvis resumed his hectic schedule appearing on TV,
concerts, motion pictures, and recording music.
Elvis and Graceland
A retreat from the maddening crowds, Elvis sought a home where he and his
family could live a more private life.
In March of 1957, Elvis bought Graceland, a Georgian colonial mansion
eight miles from downtown Memphis. Elvis added a trophy room, swimming pool
and other amenities, and surrounded the compound with a wall of stone and a
tall, ornate double iron gate decorated with guitar player silhouettes and
musical notes. At Graceland, Elvis could enjoy the spoils of success
–horses, fast cars, his favorite foods, relaxing with his friends, and most
important, a secure place for his beloved family. Graceland would remain his
home for the rest of his life, the one constant he could always enjoy. Many
fans have made the pilgrimage to Graceland to honor and remember Elvis.
