and the only Museum dedicated solely to his works.

On the left side, "Charge of the Rough
Riders at San Juan Hill" is captured in remarkable detail.
Teddy Roosevelt (on horseback) leads cavalrymen in their historic 1898 charge
during the Spanish-American War. Also featured is
"The
Alert," depicting a "Buffalo Soldier," one of the
African-American soldiers who served on the Western frontier after the Civil War.
All artwork is featured in a combination of 24-karat gold and nickel with a highly
polished blackened silver-nitride background for maximum detail and contrast.

On the right side, Remington's classic "An Old Time Plains
Fight" is featured above the inscription "Frederic Remington Art Museum
Tribute." Frontiersmen have dismounted to fight off a Indian attack on the
wide-open plains. Also featured is
"The
Outlier," as a solitary Indian on horseback signals the changing
way of life and the end to an era of their freedom to live and move freely on the Western
Plains.
