Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette & Pat Buttram Tribute Rifle

Honoring America's Singing Cowboy and His Favorite Sidekicks

In tribute to Gene Autry and his sidekicks, Smiley Burnette and Pat Buttram, America Remembers proudly presents a limited edition rifle authorized by the Autry, Burnette and Buttram families and the Autry Museum of National Western Heritage.

America grew up with Gene Autry and we loved him dearly.  Known as "The Singing Cowboy," he recorded the first gold record ever.  He was voted "America's Favorite Cowboy" for six consecutive years.
Gene Autry and Smiley Burnette teamed up when Gene was looking for an accordion player.  With success in the recording field, they traveled together to Hollywood to begin films in 1934.  Smiley was a talented musician and he could play almost any musical instrument.
Pat Buttram first met Gene Autry while Pat was working on the National Barn Dance program for radio station WLS.  Pat and Gene began to make feature films together when Gene returned from World War II.  Pat appeared with Gene in 17 feature films and went on to appear in most of the 91 "Gene Autry Television Shows."  They remained close friends until Pat's death in 1994.

Gene Autry - Left Side

The left side of the receiver features Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette and Pat Buttram; their portraits glowing in 24-karat gold over a rich blackened patinaed background.  A banner with "Back in the Saddle Again" is featured, framed by elegant scrollwork.

Gene Autry - Right Side

The right side of the receiver features two scenes - Gene strums his guitar as Smiley plays the accordion, and Gene and Pat are on the lookout for a dangerous villain.  Both images are surrounded by elaborate scrollwork.

Gene Autry - Stocks

The walnut stocks are laser-carved to add even greater beauty and value to this handsome collector's showpiece. Forearm features Gene's portrait and name of the Tribute. The classic scrollwork and rope design border also appears on the shoulder stock, with a portrait of Smiley Burnette on the left side and Pat Buttram on the right side.
