Right side of receiver features portraits of outlaws Jesse James and
Billy the Kid, plus lawmen Bat Masterson and Wild Bill Hickok. Each has a banner
bearing his name. Also featured in the center of the artwork is the name of the
Tribute, "Lawmen & Outlaws of the Wild West." The portraits are
surrounded by elegant scrollwork in 24-karat gold.

Left side features portraits of outlaws John Wesley Hardin and Butch
Cassidy, and lawmen Pat Garrett and Wyatt Earp. You will also find a Deputy
Marshal's badge and a hangman's gallows standing for Justice. Elegant scrollwork in
24-karat gold frames the entire scene.

The popularity of the Model 92 is legendary. A classic rifle, it
ranks as one of the most popular lever-action rifles ever produced by Winchester. It
was a favorite of Annie Oakley, as well as ranchers and hunters. After a 50 year
hiatus, production of this rifle has recently resumed. The Lawmen & Outlaws Tribute Rifle
was the first offering of its kind from
America Remembers based on the Model 92 rifle.The buttstock and forearm are genuine
hand-polished walnut, and the barrel and tubular magazine are blued steel. The
luster of gold on the hammer, lever, forearm cap, magazine cap, and tang add the perfect
touch to this Tribute. |
