It's a familiar story -- a once abundant wildlife species, over-harvested and faced with the loss of native habitat - until its population decline was reversed by dramatic conservation measures.  Today, the comeback of the wild turkey is one of America's greatest conservation achievements. Now, for the very first time, the National Wild Turkey Federation and America Remembers have teamed to issue an exclusive tribute honoring America's magnificent wild turkey and National Wild Turkey Federation's 30 years of leadership in the conservation of this magnificent bird. The Tribute features timeless and enduring artwork on a classic American autoloader, and it will be a handsome reminder of America's great outdoor treasures, including the legendary wild turkey, a favorite of sportsmen around the country. Working closely with the National Wild Turkey Federation, artists commissioned by America Remembers have created a museum-quality masterpiece.  Craftsmen polish and decorate each shotgun with artwork in lustrous 24-karat gold with a striking nickel background to highlight each scene, and with blackened patinaed accents to highlight the gold artwork honoring the majestic wild turkey, and celebrating the 30th anniversary of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Left side of the receiver features a trophy tom in a center portrait cameo, flanked by banners identifying the issue as the National Wild Turkey Federation 30th Anniversary Tribute.  To the left, a pair of wild turkeys take flight from their roost, while on the right, a trio of turkeys forage for food.  Each turkey is prominently featured in lustrous 24-karat gold, with background scenes featured in nickel.
Right side of the receiver features three turkeys in their natural habitat.  To the left, an alert wild turkey is shown on his roost, awaiting his next feeding foray.  The familiar logo of the National Wild Turkey Federation is featured on the right.  Elegant gold scrollwork in the tradition of the finest presentation grade firearms adds the finishing touch to the design.
As a crowning touch on this museum-quality masterpiece, the rich walnut stocks are mirror polished and laser carved with the handsome National Wild Turkey Federation logo.
