Honoring
The Brave
Soldiers And
Warriors Who Fought
At The Battle of the Little Bighorn
|
 |
| On the
left side of the barrel is the inscription, "George A. Custer" in 24-karat
gold, and on the right, "Seventh Cavalry." Framing each inscription
are a pair of crossed sabers and the number "7." Encircling the breech
of the cylinder is a diamond-shaped design reminiscent of the design on an
authentic Sioux saddlebag, while each chamber is alternately marked with a
saber or an arrow, representing the two proud armies of the Little Bighorn. |
 |
On each
side of the frame, the inscription "U.S." recreates the markings present on
all Colts issued by the government during the 1870's.
|
 |
 |
| A pair of presentation grade faux ivory grips
have been laser-etched using the finest technology available. Etched onto the left
grip is a portrait of the man the Sioux called "Long Hair," George Armstrong
Custer, and on the right grip is the crossed-sabers symbol of the Seventh Cavalry. |
