A Marlin Model 336CS Honoring the
Whitetail Deer

Left side of the receiver features three whitetails, including an
impressive buck, racing through a marsh. This scene is alive with detail, from the
texture of the deer hides to the swaying of the grass, right down to the grain of a nearby
tree trunk. You can almost hear the splashing water as it breaks the stillness of
the autumn afternoon.

On the right side of the receiver, elaborate scrollwork frames the
portrait of a magnificent, 10-point buck, standing tall and proud before a beautiful
landscape of mountains and evergreens. In his eyes is the cautious intelligence
that's kept him, so far, one step ahead of the hunter.

| Each rifle is decorated in 24-karat gold and nickel by craftsman
commissioned specifically for this issue by America Remembers. The left side of the
barrel bears the legend, "Whitetail Deer Trophy," while the right side shows the
rifle's individual edition number, up to 300, both in 24-karat gold. To accentuate
the rifle, the barrel bands, sights, magazine cap and lever will be hand-polished and
finished in 24-karat gold. The hand-finished checkered walnut stock is the crowning
touch for this handsome rifle. |
