Remembers Joins With
Celebrated Author Dennis Adler to Present
The Rarest of the Rare
the Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon
|
|

|
Elaborate artwork in nickel and polished blue covers every inch of the
revolver. Left side features a portrait of Samuel Colt and the right side features a
portrait of Eli Whitney, Jr. The cylinder is elegantly highlighted with the events
of the Texas Ranger battle scene of 1844.
For this issue, we have joined with renowned author Dennis Adler. Dennis is an
antique firearms enthusiast and his terrific new book, "Colt Blackpowder
Reproductions & Replicas A Collector's and Shooter's Guide" is destined to
become the definitive text on the subject. Working together, we have designed a handsome
revolver honoring this historic milestone in Samuel Colts history. The issue will be
prominently featured in Dennis new book, and you will receive a personally
autographed copy of his book with each Tribute.

The barrel is blued and features a banner proclaiming "1848
Whitneyville Hartford Sesquicentennial 1998" in nickel on both sides.

 |
Portraits of Samuel Colt and Eli Whitney, Jr. are featured on the frame. |

Handsome Display Case
 |
| A display case accompanies each
Tribute, luxuriously lined to fit the contours of the revolver, and features a brass
plaque. A special drawer, lined in felt, is designed to hold the signed copy of
Dennis Adler's book, Colt Blackpowder Reproductions & Replicas -- A Collector's and
Shooter's Guide.
