The artwork in 24-karat gold and nickel captures legendary U.S. Army
campaigns of the 20th century. The right side depicts World War I
tanks, soldiers firing a howitzer during the Korean War, and General
Norman Schwarzkopf, who directed our troops to victory in America's
decisive triumph in Desert Storm.

The left side portrays a decisive battle during the
Philippine Insurrection, as U.S. Army troops under the command of General
John J. Pershing, defeated the Moros in 1913. Also featured is a
battle scene from World War II and a portrait of General John J. Pershing.
