Celebrating America’s Real Wild West

101leftside

The left side of the receiver features a group portrait of Joe, Zack and George L. Miller, the driving force behind the massive 101 Ranch and Wild West show. To their right is Bill Pickett, the famous 101 performer who developed the rodeo event known as “bulldogging.” To the left is the stylish 101 Ranch logo, which is being used on the Tribute with permission of Jimmie Gibbs Munroe, granddaughter of Zack Miller, along with a banner proclaiming “Largest Diversified Farm and Ranch in the United States.”

101rghtside

On the right side, 101 Ranch founder George W. Miller’s portrait is featured, along with his wife Mollie and daughter Alma, both of whom were instrumental in the success of the famous ranch. The artwork on both sides of the receiver, like the elegant scrollwork surrounding it, is captured in sparkling 24-karat gold against a special blackened patinaed background for maximum detail and contrast.

Barrel bands, lever, trigger, hammer, magazine end cap, and hooded sight are all hand polished and decorated in 24-karat gold elegantly complementing the handsomely decorated receiver.

On the shoulder stocks, oval vignettes have been intricately carved into the Tribute’s walnut depicting two stars of the 101 Ranch Wild West show.  Princess Wenona, “Champion Rifle Shot of the World” is shown shooting targets from horseback. Chief White Eagle, longtime friend of the Millers and Ponca Indian Chief, is also featured, bordered by an oil well which represents the discovery of oil on Ponca land. Also featured on the Tribute’s stocks is the Miller’s famous “White House,” a Texas Longhorn steer, the 101’s legendary buffalo herd, and a wheat harvest in the Ranch’s fertile fields.

The Tribute is issued under Agreement from the 101 Ranch Old Timers Association, Inc.
The 101 Ranch logo is a registered trademark used by permission of Jimmie Gibbs Munroe, granddaughter of Zack Miller
