Honoring Teddy Roosevelt and his valiant men in their Charge on San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War
On the left side of the receiver, the battle is underway with the Rough Riders and Spanish troops engaged in face-to-face combat as the stars and stripes unfurl above. The scene is flanked by Roosevelt leading the charge and brandishing his sword on horseback. The inscription “Spanish American War” is featured in a banner to the right.
The right side of the receiver features a portrait of Lt. Col. Roosevelt who led the Rough Riders to triumph, in his trademark spectacles and hat. To the right are crossed swords emblem of the First Regiment U.S. Volunteer Cavalry surrounded by elaborate scrollwork.
All artwork is featured in 24-karat gold and nickel on blued steel. Barrel bands, trigger, and hammer are decorated in 24-karat gold. The handsome stocks are hand-polished to a lustrous shine. The right side of the barrel features the Tribute name and the left side features the individual edition number within the edition limit of 300.
