AN EDITION OF 50
Honoring Six of the Most Revered and Respected Indian Leaders in American History
For this Tribute, we obtained a limited number of historic Colt revolvers. These revolvers were originally acquired by John Bianchi’s Frontier Museum, and subsequently were acquired by the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in 1985. The revolvers were never displayed at the Autry Museum, but were kept in storage until they were acquired by a firearms dealer. The revolver features a 7 1/2″ barrel and the unique .44 Special caliber.
The Tribute is a handsomely decorated Colt Single Action Army Revolver, with artwork honoring six of the most revered and respected Indian leaders in American history featured on the cylinder – Sitting Bull, Gall, Geronimo, Stand Watie, Red Cloud, and Chief Joseph. The barrel is decorated with Indian motifs along with the name of the Tribute. The backstrap features Indian motifs and the individual edition number inside the outline of an arrowhead. The recoil shield features the head of a majestic buffalo, a symbolic image of the western frontier and an integral part of the culture for American Indians.
Included with each Tribute is a specially designed case to protect and display this historic Tribute to six legendary American Indian leaders.
