Saluting an American Legend
William Boyd first appeared on the silver screen in 1935 as Hopalong Cassidy, and an American legend was born. Revered for his honesty, integrity and patriotism, Hopalong Cassidy was so respected that parents encouraged their children to watch his show.
Dressed in black from head to toe, Hopalong Cassidy quickly became America’s first television superstar. William Boyd also starred on the silver screen in 66 movies. His first movie was “Hop-A-Long-Cassidy.” Winchester rifles were featured in the first Hopalong Cassidy movie, and in subsequent films.
In his show, Hopalong Cassidy was a clever and kindly defender of truth and justice. As foreman of the Bar 20 Ranch, he tracked down all manner of unsavory characters – from cattle rustlers to desperate killers.
Now to celebrate the life and career of this legendary Western icon, America Remembers proudly presents the Hopalong Cassidy Tribute Rifle. Each Tribute rifle now available in the edition is a working Winchester Model 94 rifle in caliber .30-30.

All artwork is featured in 24-karat gold and nickel with a special blackened patinaed background to highlight the details.
The right side of the receiver features a handsome portrait of Hopalong Cassidy, with the warm smile we all came to know and love, and an image of Hoppy with his six-gun drawn, ready to subdue any villain whose path he might cross. You will also see the name “William Boyd” prominently displayed in gold below the familiar “Bar-20,” the ranch that Hoppy called home.
