An American Tradition
Rodeo is a uniquely American sport that developed from the play of the American cowboy. Today, the rodeo arena has become the last untamed frontier where the wild, free spirit of the American West lives on.
The left side of receiver features a banner honoring “The Great North American Rodeo.” The spur in the center represents rodeo’s origins among the working cowboy. Two rodeo events, steer wrestling and saddle bronc riding, are featured in 24-karat gold and nickel.
The right side of the receiver features a banner honoring the origins of rodeo, The Old Glory Blow-Out in 1882. Two rodeo events, barrel racing and bull riding, are shown in 24-karat gold and nickel.
The lever-action Winchester Model 94 Carbine has a 16-inch barrel. This Tribute includes the large loop lever. The rifle’s receiver is etched and decorated with incredible detail by craftsmen commissioned specifically for this project by America Remembers. This Tribute is a masterpiece, from the gold and nickel embellished receiver to the handsomely polished stock.
