Few characters have captured the world’s imagination as long as the legendary masked swordsman known as Zorro. The thrilling saga of timid nobleman Diego de la Vega– who leads a double life defending the oppressed against injustice—was created by writer Johnston McCulley in a pulp story. Since his first appearance, Zorro has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, becoming the subject of hundreds of stories, books, films, television shows, cartoons and comic books. With full authorization from Zorro Productions, Inc., our artisans have truly gone the extra mile to create a sidearm that Zorro would be proud to carry on his famous steed, Tornado, alongside his bullwhip and famous rapier.
For this Tribute, the legendary Single Action Revolver in caliber .45 LC was selected as the perfect firearm to capture this legendary hero in American culture. Revolvers for this Tribute are produced by the craftsmen of A. Uberti, who are regarded as the world’s premier maker of historic firearms recreations. Craftsmen commissioned specifically for this project by America Remembers decorate each revolver in sparkling 24-karat gold and nickel over a blued steel canvas, resulting in a remarkable firearm that captures all of the mystery, adventure and romance of the Zorro legend.
A Celebration of Two Legends
Though Zorro is best known for his expertise with a sword and bullwhip, his faithful sidearm was close at hand. In many of his adventures, whenever the situation called for firepower, Zorro proved himself an expert marksman. In choosing the firearm for the Zorro™ Tribute Revolver, we searched through his swashbuckling adventures in feature films, cliffhanger serials and television series. From the research, we selected the legendary Single Action revolver, the classic firearm of the Wild West and a firearm used in the later Zorro adventures. It seemed only fitting to combine two legends into one unforgettable Tribute.
“The Peacemaker” has truly become an iconic firearm and deserving of the title “The Gun That Won the West” or “The Equalizer.” Now, long after the West was won, the Peacemaker has proved to be a firearm that survived and thrived beyond its moment in history. Both sides of barrel feature the official Zorro™ logo, emblazoned in 24-karat gold and surrounded by decorative scrollwork in the tradition of the finest presentation firearms.
The ‘Zorro’ name is also featured in bold black letters laser-engraved onto the faux ivory grips. Completing the overall design, the trigger, hammer and hardware are all decorated in brilliant 24-karat gold.
Left side of the recoil shield features the masked hero in iconic fashion, clad in all black with his trusted blade at the ready. The portrait is framed in an ornate oval, with flowing scrolls at the top and bottom.
The fluted cylinder features exquisitely detailed swords placed atop 24-karat gold scrolls. The blade of each sword is rendered carefully in nickel. The iconic “Mark of Zorro” is also represented on the cylinder – the three slashes of the sword that Zorro would leave as his calling card to warn his enemies.
Featured at the top of the backstrap, the name ‘Zorro’ sits proudly atop a triumphant silhouette of Zorro rendered in 24-karat gold against dark blued steel. Further down the strap, the ‘Zorro’ name is detailed with a handsome, nickel-plated sword.

Since the “Zorro™ Tribute Revolver” is a working Revolver, we will arrange delivery through a licensed firearms dealer of your choice.

I wish to reserve the “Zorro™ Tribute Revolver”, a working Single Action Revolver, at the current issue price of $1,995. Each revolver is numbered within the edition limit of 300 and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Thirty day return privilege.
