Ty Murray Tribute Rifle

Category: Uncategorized

THIS ISSUE IS CLOSED

Honoring Ty Murray, Rodeo’s Living Legend.
A Seven-Time World Champion, All-Around Cowboy, Ty Murray competed in all three, rough stock events – bareback riding, saddle bronc, and bull riding.

Ty Murray, the cowboy’s cowboy, often said “When my career’s over, and people look back and my name’s brought up, I hope that I’m remembered as a great cowboy.  Not just a great bull rider or a great bronc rider.  I hope when they think back, they’ll say I was a great cowboy.”
TMpicRodeo…the arena where the skills and guts of the Old West cowboy still reign supreme.  Mastery of the horse or bull is what it’s all about here, and when it gets down to who’s the best in rodeo history, one man has caught everyone’s attention; Ty Murray.  He may well be the greatest rider of all time.

While it would be easy for Ty to have an ego bigger than Texas, he’s a man that’s soft spoken, loves the rodeo, and is a true sportsman.  He represents the best in the ideals of the American Cowboy and the Old West.  Ty loves his life as a cowboy and remains a fan favorite, even after his retirement from competition.

TMleftLeft side of the receiver features a stunning portrait of Ty Murray meticulously etched in gold and blue, framed in a nickel shield flanked by scenes of Ty doing what he did best – bull and saddle bronc riding. Nickel scrollwork surrounds the images.

TMTRI_rightRight side of the receiver features a gold shield recognizing Ty as a seven-time World Champion All-Around Cowboy, plus a scene of Ty bareback riding.  Artwork is etched in incredible detail in a combination of gold, nickel, and blueing by craftsmen specifically commissioned for this Tribute by America Remembers.
