The left side of the receiver features two handsome bucks, bounding gracefully through a break in the trees. Elaborate nickel scrollwork surrounds this tranquil scene.

Each rifle is decorated in 24-karat gold and nickel by craftsmen commissioned specifically by America Remembers for this issue. On the right side of the receiver, elaborate nickel scrollwork frames an impressive buck, tall and alert, as he stands watch for two doe. The “Whitetail Trophy Rifle” is a magnificent tribute to America’s most popular big game experience, the whitetail deer. The “Whitetail Trophy Rifle” is a Model 336CS Marlin rifle in caliber .30-.30. The rifle’s barrel bands, hooded sight, and lever are hand-polished and finished in 24-karat gold, while the hammer features a jewelled finish. The individual edition number is featured on the bottom of the receiver. The checkered walnut stocks are hand-polished to a lustrous shine, adding a finishing touch to this handsome rifle.
