Celebrate 150 Years of Texas
Pride
America Remembers is proud to honor the 150th Anniversary of Fort Worth and
preserve its legacy of cowboys, cattle, stockyards, and stock shows on this magnificent
Model 94 Wrangler rifle.

 |
On the left side of the receiver, a herd of Longhorns thunder through the
Fort Worth Stockyards. This scene is flanked by the Livestock Exchange and the
Cowtown Coliseum, landmarks where the traditions of Fort Worth are still very much alive
today.
|
|
 |
Right side of the receiver features a map of Texas with Fort Worth shown
along the historic McCoy/Chisholm Trail. Also featured is a herd of Longhorns as
trail drovers guide them through a river and over the Texas plains. Out in front, a
cowboy ropes a steer. Fort Worth's nicknames, "Cowtown" and
"Where the West Begins," are also prominently featured.

|
 |
The 24-karat gold artwork on the receiver depicts scenes from the great
trail drive era and the three landmarks which form the heart of Fort Worth: the Livestock
Exchange, the Fort Worth Stockyards, and the Cowtown Coliseum. The Tribute
handsomely celebrates the Old West and the importance of cattle in the settling of the
West. The Tribute is authorized by the North Fort Worth Historical Society, and
edition #1 will take an honored place in their Stockyard Museum.
