Monte's career in Western Movies began in 1946 when
Republic Pictures signed him for a seven year contract.
Monte's first movie was "Home of the Range," and he
went on to star in 19 major westerns, becoming one of Republic's most
popular singing cowboys.

24-karat gold. He is framed by a border of stars and exquisite scrollwork etched in
24-karat gold and nickel.

the right is a smiling Monte holding his rifle. Both scenes are surrounded by lavish
24-karat gold and nickel scrollwork.

The Tribute features the large loop lever decorated in gold with nickel
scrollwork. Barrel bands and magazine cap are also decorated in gold.
The individual edition number is permanently inscribed on the tang, along with a pair of
crossed pistols.

The rifle's walnut stocks are laser-carved on both sides. The
shoulder stock features Monte shooting his rifle, while Pardner his horse gallops on.
Banners surrounding the scene feature Monte's saying "SHOOT LOW! THEY MIGHT BE
CRAWLIN'." Monte's name is located on the forearm in a classic rope design.
